DinoTrove collects the following information to provide and improve our services: • Account information: email address and authentication details when you sign in with Apple, Google, or email and password. • User-generated content: your favorite dinosaurs, passport entries (museum names, cities, countries, visit dates, personal notes, and optional photos), and badge progress. • Usage data: how you interact with the app, which features you use, and device information, used to improve the app experience. We do not collect sensitive personal information such as your real name unless you provide it voluntarily through your sign-in provider.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to: • Provide and maintain your dinosaur passport, favorites, and achievements. • Sync your data across devices so your collection is always available. • Display your statistics and badge progress. • Improve our dinosaur database and app features. • Send you notifications about new content and achievements (if enabled). We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
3. Data Storage and Security
Your data is stored securely in the cloud using industry-standard encryption. Passport entries, favorites, and personal notes are private to your account and protected by row-level security — other users cannot access your personal data. Optional photos you upload are stored securely and linked only to your account.

We do not share your personal data with third parties except: • When required by law or to comply with legal processes. • With authentication providers (Apple, Google) solely for sign-in purposes. • In aggregate, anonymized form for analytics and improvement purposes.

DinoTrove is designed to be accessible and educational for users of all ages, including younger dinosaur enthusiasts. We do not knowingly collect more personal information than necessary to provide the service. Parents or guardians may contact us to review or delete their child's account data.
