Overview
Amargasaurus was a distinctive sauropod with two parallel rows of elongated spines along its neck and back. These spines may have supported a double sail or formed pairs of horns, making it one of the most visually striking dinosaurs known.

Interesting Facts
Amargasaurus had elongated neural spines up to 60 centimeters tall on its neck.
The spines may have supported sails, or stood free as horn-like structures for display.
Despite its spines, it was a relatively small sauropod.
It lived in Early Cretaceous South America alongside other bizarre dinosaurs.
