Interesting Facts

Styracosaurus had at least four to six long spikes extending from the edges of its frill.

Its frill and spikes may have been used for display, species recognition, and defense.

Like other ceratopsians, it had a powerful parrot-like beak for cropping tough vegetation.

Bonebeds suggest Styracosaurus lived in large herds.
