Brachiosaurus was a gigantic sauropod of the Late Jurassic, distinguished by its steeply sloping back and a long neck held high — unlike many sauropods that kept their necks more horizontal. Its front legs were longer than its hind legs, giving it a giraffe-like stance ideal for browsing the highest conifer foliage.
